67 New School Buildings Inaugurated Across Assam
ASSAM – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has inaugurated 67 new school buildings and laid foundation stones for 61 additional school infrastructure projects across the state, reinforcing the government’s focus on strengthening public education facilities.
The newly inaugurated buildings aim to improve learning conditions in government schools by providing better classrooms and essential amenities. The upcoming projects are expected to further expand access to quality educational infrastructure, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of creating dignified and well-equipped school environments, stating that strong infrastructure plays a key role in improving educational outcomes.
Officials said the projects form part of the state’s ongoing education reform efforts, with a focus on long-term development and inclusive growth. The initiative reflects Assam’s broader push towards upgrading government schools and investing in human capital for the future.
