Nagaland athlete wins double gold at South Asian Sepaktakraw Championship

Nagaland’s Mudotsu Dozo brought pride to the state after winning two gold medals at the 6th South Asian Sepaktakraw Championship held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from February 6 to 11.

Dozo, who represented India in the men’s category, secured gold medals in both the team event and the regu event, contributing to India’s strong performance at the regional championship.

In a press release issued on Monday, the Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association congratulated Dozo for his achievement and lauded his valuable contribution to the Indian team. The association described his performance as a result of consistent hard work, discipline, and dedication to the sport.

The association further informed that Dozo is currently training at the national camp as part of India’s preparations for the upcoming Asian Games. It expressed confidence that he will continue to excel and bring further honours for the state and the country in future international competitions.
