Working with SLRD
This work is delivered in close collaboration with the School of Livelihood and Rural Development, which brings more than two decades of community mobilisation and producer institution building across rural India.
Producer institution work in the North East feeds directly into NEER, where enterprises are audited, scored on buyer readiness and taken through a four rung compliance ladder. A producer company that reaches the third rung can bid for institutional tenders it was previously disqualified from.
