Assam HSLC Result 2026 Date Confirmed: Results to Be Declared on April 10, Says Ranoj Pegu

Guwahati, April 9: Assam HSLC Result 2026 will be declared on April 10, confirmed by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu. Over 4.38 lakh students appeared for the exam conducted by the Assam State School Education Board.

Ranoj Pegu on Thursday confirmed that the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination will be announced, shortly after the conclusion of polling in Assam.

Speaking on the development, the minister stated that the evaluation process has already been completed and the declaration was deliberately scheduled after polling day. “The results are ready, and students will be able to access them tomorrow,” he said.

This year witnessed a record participation, with over 4.38 lakh students appearing for the HSLC examination conducted by the Assam State School Education Board. Officials noted that the high number of candidates presented logistical challenges, which were managed through coordinated planning and execution.

According to board authorities, nearly 95 percent of the evaluation work had been completed within the planned timeline, as earlier indicated by Controller of Examinations Nayan Jyoti Sarma. To ensure efficiency, around 45 evaluation centres were set up across the state, all operating under a fast-tracked assessment schedule.
