Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav meets PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi
New Delhi, March 25: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav on Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital, discussing a range of matters concerning the state.
According to an official from Lok Bhavan, the Governor also held separate meetings with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla during his visit.
The official stated that these interactions marked Yadav’s first courtesy calls on top national leaders after assuming charge as the 23rd Governor of Nagaland on March 13.
During the meetings, Yadav expressed his gratitude to the leaders and reiterated his commitment to ensuring the development, peace, and overall progress of Nagaland.
The meetings are seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination between the state and the Centre, with a focus on governance and regional development.
